In a Post-Brexit and Post COVID-19 landscape, ‘Unlock Africa’ has been specifically designed to allow UK and African businesses trade more effectively with each other, and will provide support, information, and dedicated resources to provide ease of access. EPINEC was nominated as one of the leading private organizations in Nigeria to witness the bi-lateral trade opportunities that exist between the United Kingdom and Africa and seek ways on how to bolster trade between both countries.

Winner, Airbus Africa4Future Aerospace Entrepreneur of the year, 2020

#Africa4Future is a joint-accelerator programme launched by Airbus BizLab and “Make-IT in Africa,” an initiative developed by GIZ, the German agency for international cooperation. It is implemented with the help of CCHub, a Nigerian start-up consultancy. In addition, UP42, a developer platform and marketplace for geospatial data and analytics, recently signed on as the programme’ s technology sponsor. Since 2017, #Africa4Future has accelerated 14 start-ups in Africa.

Winner, Microsoft Cloudpreneur of the year, 2015

In collaboration with Fate Foundation and Mara Mentor, Microsoft launched the ‘CloudPreneur Project’ in Nigeria, which will provide participating start-up with entrepreneurship, Cloud, and ICT training. At the end of the project, the 20 best performing participants will receive mentorship to manage their own profitable businesses based on Cloud technology.
The Microsoft Cloud Start-Up academy also known as the CloudPreneur Project will train 100 Nigerian start-ups and provide 20 with mentorship to manage and sustain their Cloud-based businesses.

WINNER, CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA ANNUAL VENTURE PRIZE COMPETITION 2010

The Central Bank of Nigeria in the 2007/2008 service year introduced the Annual Venture Prize Competition among serving corps members as part of its corporate social responsibility and in consonance with the principles of the National Economic Empowerment and Development Strategy (NEEDS). The initiative amongst others is aimed at reducing the dependence on and the endless search for white collar jobs, arousing the entrepreneurial spirit of the Youth Corps Members during their service year, and empowering youths by encouraging them to take ownership of their entrepreneurship concepts and ideas.
